Well the Nano writing contest is over and i did it. I wrote over 50,000 words in thirty days. Now if I can ever get the file to down load I will have it made. I wrote a mystery set in Namibia Africa and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully it will be the first book in a series.
The one I finished sets the stage for the rest to follow. I already have an idea for the next one. This one is called Cornelia Rose. It introduces Le Lu a woman who was born in Namibia to freedom fighters. Her mother dies in child birth. Her father raises her for the first eight years of her life. He becomes worried for her safety as the fighting heats up , so he sends her to live with her aunt in England. He dies a short while later.
Le Lu grows up in England. She goes back to Namibia for the summers and stays with another aunt. She makes a carrier in England in law enforcement. She retires as a lead homicide Detective and opens her own detective agency. Then she opens a detective agency in Namibia. After both her aunts have passed away she decides to come home to Namibia for good.
She starts her homecoming by being asked to help solve a crime at the museum . Cornelia roses diary and other items have been stolen. The diary tells where Cornelia hid her inheritance over a hundred years ago.
That is where the book starts and goes from there.
